Robert leads our UK team, bringing with him 15 years of experience in Information Technology, and more than 6 years as a Computer Forensic Analyst. During the past several years, Robert has contributed to and overseen more than 150 forensic investigations; provided expert evidence pertaining to IT issues more than eighty times; testified as an expert witness at Crown Court seven times; and was appointed by The High Court as an Independent Computer Expert fifteen times. He is accredited as an expert witness with The Law Societies of England & Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
He has also received formal training in the application of forensic methodology and the use of various forensic tools, including EnCase forensic analysis software.
Robert has been interviewed by the BBC regarding methodology utilized by forensics experts in investigations into illegal internet activity. In addition to training police and corporate sector professionals on best practices in forensic investigation, Rob is also a frequent speaker at international legal conferences on a variety of topics, including the intersection of computer forensics and eDisclosure and best practices for managing large-scale investigations.
